Note from the Librarian:
Be kind with the comments. It was 4 hours of vinyl mixing, I was on point for most of it but man I'm not as young as I amazing myself to be. The gig was great. A little over lite but what are you going to do... Thanks to all the old heads that came out. It should be noted that I DJed for 4 hours but the last half hour was lost due to my Audio recorded being full. BA HA.

Wicked excited about this party. I've been hearing about the SubDistrick parties for a second, but have not been able to attend because of other obligations, gigs, or just general chaos of life. So I'm honored that Julian & Dylan invited out, and to be tag teaming with my brother in arms Blaze One. Which I should note has sworn off the CDJ's for a night and is going to be playing all vinyl. I'm excited to hear what he has stashed away.

RANDOMNESS: To be a Junglist

"To be a Junglist is to live and breathe the scene, the sounds and the style. It's all about being there, a face in the crowd at the clubs and events, nodding with the approval as the DJ drops the latest up front dub plate. It's all about a subconscious sharing of that collective knowledge. Which DJs are collaborating with which producers, who's running the latex imprints of club night. Threads of knowledge which tie you into the greater fabric of the family, giving you a sense of belonging."

This just made me smile last night while reading up on the history of Jungle.
